3.1 Charging & Power
Pophie's built-in battery features overcharge protection and an intelligent power management mechanism. The device supports long-term connection to the charging base without compromising battery safety.
Power Supply Specifications
- Adapter Selection: We recommend using a 5V/3A (15W) power adapter with the included Type-C cable.
*High-wattage adapters automatically regulate output power. Please use the recommended specification.
- Note: Using a 5V/2A or lower power adapter will prolong charging time and may even result in an insufficient power supply.
Charging & Battery Safety Guidelines
- Only use certified power adapters and cables. Do not use worn, cracked or exposed wires.
- Charge the device on a stable, hard surface. Do not charge on beds, sofas or other soft surfaces.
- Keep the product away from water, moisture, fire and high-temperature environments at all times.
- Do not disassemble, modify, drop or puncture the device. The internal battery is non-removable.
- If the product becomes abnormally hot, swollen, leaking, smelly or makes unusual noises during use or charging, disconnect power immediately and stop use.
WARNING: This product contains non-replaceable batteries. The power cord, plug, enclosure, or other parts used with this product should be inspected regularly. If any damage is found, do not use it until repaired.
Power On/Off Operations
| Powering On No buttons required. Place the device on the powered charging base, and it will turn on automatically. *Note: Ensure the base is front-side up (Logo side down). |

Usage Mode Recommendations
- Optimal Performance: For the best performance, please keep the device connected to power throughout use.
- Unplugged Mode: When fully charged and unplugged, Pophie can sustain interaction for approximately 1 hour.
3.2 Wi-Fi Connection
To fully utilize Pophie's conversational, visual, and online capabilities, please complete network pairing first.
In an offline state, Pophie can still perform some local interactions, but conversational and visual capabilities will be limited.
Steps
Network Requirements
- Supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi, and can also connect to mobile personal hotspots.
- Does not support networks requiring a captive portal login (e.g., some campus networks, corporate intranets, or hotel Wi-Fi).
- For initial pairing, we recommend placing the device close to the router and prioritizing a frequency band with a more stable signal.
3.3 Recommended Usage Environment
- Placement: We recommend placing the device on a flat, stable desk and avoiding edges. Do not place her on thick carpets, cushions, or uneven surfaces to prevent slipping or affecting bottom heat dissipation.
- Ambient Lighting: Visual recognition relies on ambient light. We recommend using her indoors with sufficient and even lighting. Avoid direct harsh sunlight on the lens or backlit scenarios, which may degrade recognition accuracy.
- Ambient Noise: Voice recognition is sensitive to noise. In noisy environments, please speak closer to the device or increase your volume appropriately. Avoid continuously playing loud music or TV near the device.

4.1 How to Communicate with Pophie
Pophie possesses a nuanced emotional system. Specific interactions can quickly help build a closer bond with you.
| Let Pophie See Your Face Gaze: When you look at her and move side-to-side, she will follow your gaze and move her body accordingly. Visual Perception: Pophie has visual capabilities; she can sense her surroundings and your presence. She will observe quietly and establish a connection with you through eye contact. |

| Call Her Name Response: When you call "Pophie," she will turn her head to locate the sound source. Conversation: She will appropriately initiate conversations based on the environment; you can also interrupt her at any time to start a new topic. |

| Hug and Snuggle Pophie Snuggle: Pick her up from the desk and cup her in your hands. She will sense the changes in posture and contact, entering a quieter interactive state. Soothe: Gently stroke her back or sides, and she will respond in a relaxed and positive way. Lull to Sleep: Continuously stroke gently between her brows to lull her to sleep peacefully. |

4.2 Explore Pophie's Special Interactive Feedback
Pophie features realistic physical perception and stress response mechanisms. When facing intense external stimuli or sensitive contact, she will simulate biological instincts to trigger corresponding defensive feedback.

4.3 Pophie's Daily Behavior Guide
Pophie is more than just a "Q&A tool." As she spends time with you, she will display more natural daily behaviors and reactions based on environmental changes and interactive feedback.
Observation & ExplorationWhen someone is in the environment, she will pay attention to their state. During a conversation, she will look at whoever is speaking. She continues to observe her surroundings and proactively initiates conversations at appropriate times. |

5. Privacy & Security
This product uses a combination of local processing and cloud services. Data transmission for online features is protected by encryption.
Hybrid Security Architecture
Local Processing: The device’s real-time perception and basic interactions are processed locally by default.
Cloud Encryption: When you initiate a request requiring online capabilities, the device may invoke cloud services; the transmission process is protected by encryption.
6. Sleep & Wake
Pophie automatically adjusts her sleep and wake state based on the environment and interaction frequency, and does not require manual power-off.

Firmware Updates
- Firmware Upgrade: The App will push OTA updates from time to time. Please keep the power connected during the upgrade and do not disconnect power during the update.
Memory Management
- Please navigate to "Profile > Settings > Factory Reset > Reset" in the App to complete personalized data clearance and unbind the device.
8. Dress-Up Guide
Pophie's outfit uses high-quality plush stretch fabric. Please follow the steps below to change her outfit.
| STEP 01. Undress Gently peel the existing plush outfit off from the bottom upwards. |

| STEP 02. Dress Starting from the top of the head, slip the new outfit downwards over the body, just like putting on a sweater. |

| STEP 03. Adjust Guide the ears and hands into their respective positions, gently pulling and adjusting to ensure they stretch freely. |

| STEP 04. Confirm Adjust the facial edges. Ensure the breathing light is fully exposed and the halo is clearly visible. |

Plush Outfit Care Instructions
- Washing: Hand washing in cold water and air drying naturally are recommended; machine washing or high-temperature tumble drying is strictly prohibited.
- Shedding: A small amount of loose fur during initial use is normal; you can use a lint roller to gently remove it.
9. Status & Maintenance
9.1 Status Prompts
*Note: Status prompts are only triggered when interacting with her.
| System Update: When Pophie is updating her system, the breathing light will display rainbow colors. Please ensure she remains connected to power. |

9.2 Maintenance & Safety
- Cleaning: Use only a microfiber cloth to wipe the screen and lens. Spraying liquids is strictly prohibited.
- Environment: The optimal operating temperature is 0°C - 40°C. Avoid direct sunlight on the lens.
- Waterproofing: This product is not waterproof; please keep the device away from water sources.
- Drop Risk: The device contains a precision gearbox; dropping her may cause irreversible damage. Use the device on a flat and stable desk whenever possible.
10. Product Safety Standards
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
(1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and
(2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception,
which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
